BROOKE HUDY
MArch
INTERN ARCHITECT

Brooke is currently part of the project teams for Karir Optical Flagship and Sheridan Nurseries, in addition to a significant custom residential project.

Brooke received her Master of Architecture degree from the University of Toronto in 2022 and Honours Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of Waterloo in 2020. During her undergraduate degree at Waterloo, she had the opportunity to complete her Co-op terms internationally, having worked in Toronto, New York, and London, and studied abroad as part of the UW Rome program.

Over the course of her educational and professional career, Brooke has continuously explored methods to incorporate more sustainable practices within the design realm. Her thesis explored reconstituting a century-long supply of Toronto’s demolished bricks to re-inhabit the heavily extracted landscape where a substantial clay deposit once existed. Through experimenting with demolished materials, she became passionate about searching for strategic and engaging ways to reintegrate our past into our present fabric.
