SEPTEMBER 2014: We are pleased to announce that Jowenne Poon has been made an Associate at Drew Mandel Architects, effective immediately. Jowenne has been with Drew Mandel Architects since 2010 and has contributed greatly to many significant projects, including Moore Park Residence, WANT Apothecary, James Perse (Toronto & Oakville), Lawren Harris House, Toronto Community Sportsfield & Clubhouse, and Boat Rocker Studios. In addition, her contributions are central to defining the office culture, extending to our website, social media, exhibition work (Beyond Lines at Harbourfront Centre) and a forthcoming book, marking the first 10 years of Drew Mandel Architects. MAY 2013: Cedarvale Ravine House wins the Plachta Award! Established in 1991 by Mrs. Wanda Plachta in honour of her late husband, Michael Plachta, this award recognizes younger firms that create excellence in smaller projects that has a construction budget of less than $8 million.
